What we store

Four things, and you trigger the first two:

• Your currency choice — a cookie, written when you pick a currency in the header. Without it every page would reset to the currency of the market you are browsing.
• Saved machines — kept in your browser’s local storage when you click the save icon. It never reaches our server, which is also why the list does not follow you to another device.
• Visit measurement — Google Analytics writes one first-party cookie so that a single visit is not counted as five. It records pages, sources and actions like opening a request form.
• Ordinary server and security logs, which every web server keeps: address, browser, page and time. These are not cookies and cannot be turned off without turning off the site.

What the measurement sees

We measure which pages get used — a catalogue that nobody reads is a catalogue we should fix. In practice we see that a model page was opened two hundred times, where those visits came from, how far down the page people read and how often a request form is opened but not sent. We do not see who you are: the cookie holds a random number, not a name, and we never connect it to the contact details you type into a request.

If you would rather not be counted, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, use private browsing, or install Google’s own opt-out add-on. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.

Clearing what is stored

Your browser settings clear both the currency cookie and the saved list at any time, and the catalogue keeps working afterwards: prices simply fall back to the currency of the market you are visiting, and the saved list starts empty.

If this changes

Advertising or cross-site measurement would require cookies that genuinely need your permission. If we ever add them, this page changes first and the permission is asked before anything is written — not after.
